Hey, I’m Millie
A passionate storyteller who creates unforgettable and authentic ceremonies.
The type that get people teary eyed, laughing and leave feeling warm and fuzzy. “That was so special” and “a moment in time you’ll remember forever” is what I set out to achieve for you.
Planning a ceremony can be stressful, I’m here to bring calm amongst the chaos and help create the ceremony of your dreams leaving you relaxed, present and ready to celebrate.
How did I become a celebrant?
Two of my best friends gave me the gift of asking me to officiate their wedding. After their beautiful ceremony, people were telling me how I should really do this. I instantly fell in love with well, love and since then I have never looked back.
Telling people “I’m a celebrant” makes me so excited and I’m grateful to have one of the happiest jobs in the world. I am honoured to tell people’s love and life stories for a living and making it official.
Before becoming a celebrant, I spent over a decade in the music industry as a Publicist and Marketing Specialist. I had the privilege of telling artist stories through music and working with incredible talents like Elton John, Troye Sivan, and Katy Perry.
Storytelling has always been at the heart of what I do - now I get to tell your story.
Fun fact: I love music. One of the first things I’ll ask you is what songs you’re choosing for your ceremony because the right music doesn’t just fill a moment, it elevates it. And if you’re stuck? I’ve got you.
A little more about me…
I am currently writing my own love story in Brisbane with my husband Elliott, our children Maggie, Rocky, and dog, Ollie.
When I’m not working, you’ll find me…
Playing outside with my kids, soaking up the chaos and joy
Lost in a book (I’m obsessed with wartime survival stories)
Is there anything better than an afternoon beer in the sunshine?
Adding another plant (or pet) to my collection
Bush walks with Ollie, podcast in my ears
Hosting dinner parties and cooking up a storm with my husband
Travelling (Mexico will forever hold a piece of my heart)
On a yoga mat or running in the fresh air
Having a coffee and already looking forward to the next one
With every booking a percentage of the fee I donate to Dementia Australia. A cause very close to heart.
I live to laugh and believe there is magic in everyday.
Millie x
